Tonight, hundreds came together to celebrate the 13th Annual International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO) Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The crowd was made up of ICCO’s global membership of public relations senior management, spanning 48 countries and more than 2,500 consultancies. At the center of the event was ICCO’s Hall of Fame, the organization’s coveted honor recognizing leaders making an extraordinary impact within PR both globally and locally.
This year’s honor and recognition went to a familiar face—none other than our own Jack Martin, Global Chairman and CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Maxim Behar, ICCO President and CEO of M3, an H+K affiliate, presided over Martin’s induction ceremony.
The prestigious award, established by the organization in 2003, honors public relations trailblazers shaping and elevating the industry to global heights. Inductees into the Hall of Fame epitomize the organization’s commitment toimproving standards of practice, raising ethical issues in business, and sharing experiences of industry successes and failures.
The exciting achievement adds to Martin’s past accolades, including his induction to the PR News Hall of Fame in 2014. With this year’s honor, Martin joins an elite group of past ICCO winners, including Harold Burston, founding Chairman of Burson-Marsteller, and Daniel Edelman, Founder and Chairman of Edelman. The ICCO Hall of Fame induction is a meaningful acknowledgement by Martin’s peers and fellow leaders across the greater business community of his more than 25 years of significant industry impact.
“Tonight’s recognition was an honor and a privilege,” said Martin. “I would like to thank my colleagues, without whom none of the groundbreaking work taking place at H+K would be possible.”
